The VLITEX fire protection bag (or battery bag for short) provides safety when handling your e-bike battery. This VLITEX battery bag is suitable for all common e-bike batteries with the maximum dimensions listed below (e.g., Bosch 500 e-bike battery or Bosch 625 e-bike battery). As you can see, preventing such an event is actually quite simple thanks to the VLITEX fire protection bag!

• Up to 1,000 °C for a short time, ideal for use in battery fires

• Tested: with Li-ion batteries up to 400 Wh

The VLITEX E-Bike Battery Bag is designed to slow down and limit the spread of a Li-ion battery fire. It is not intended to extinguish such a fire completely.

If the battery burns, explosions may occur depending on the state of charge, capacity, and cell type of the battery. These explosions can damage the bag and thus impair its fire containment effect.
