VLITEX Fire Containment Bag Laptop

Our fire containment bag for laptops and tablets protects against the risks of lithium-ion battery fires, which can also occur in modern laptops. Developed by experts in technical textiles and made from high-quality materials, the bag protects the surroundings in the event of a battery fire. It consists of a carefully developed 3-layer system, alternately made of coated special fibers and a thick mat. This combination offers outstanding fire containment and withstands up to 1,000 °C for a short period.

Safety information – what the VLITEX E-Bike Battery Bag does

The VLITEX E-Bike battery bag is designed to slow down and limit the spread of a Li-ion battery fire. It is not intended to completely extinguish such a fire.

If the battery burns, explosions can occur, depending on the state of charge, capacity, and cell type of the battery. These explosions can damage the bag and thus impair its fire containment effect.
