Especially with Bosch, it's not so easy to choose the right tracker. Here's a little help:
If you have a Bosch "Active Line" motor, then it is a Bosch motor of Generation 2 or 3.
If you bought your e-bike new in 2020-2021 and it has a "Performance Line CX" or "Bosch Cargo Line" motor, then it is a Bosch Generation 4 motor - not smart.
If you bought your e-bike new in 2022, then it has a Bosch motor with Smart System installed. You can also recognize this if an "LED Remote" control unit is attached to the e-bike.

Note on the disposal of used batteries
The following notice is addressed to those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and do not resell them in the form supplied to them (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries so that proper disposal can be ensured. You can hand in used batteries at a municipal collection point or at local retailers. We, as distributors of batteries, are also obliged to take back used batteries, whereby our obligation to take back used batteries is limited to those types of used batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge directly at our warehouse at the address given in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury, more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium, or more than 0.004 mass percent lead, the chemical designation of the respective pollutant used – "Cd" for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury – is located below the wheeled bin symbol.
